Osaka Kansai Expo | Where to stay?

Source: 2025 World Expo, Japan (Osaka-Kansai Expo) | Event Overview

The Osaka-Kansai Expo will attract a variety of people, including tourists visiting for sightseeing and business people involved in the event.
Even before the Expo begins, people from other prefectures will likely visit due to the construction of the venue.
It is also expected that many visitors will come not only from within Japan but also from overseas.
If you are a tourist and staying for a short period of time, we recommend a hotel, but if you are staying for a longer period for work related events, we recommend staying in a monthly apartment.

Tourism | For short stays, stay at hotels near major stations

If you are planning a short trip, such as 2 days and 1 night, or 3 days and 2 nights, we recommend a hotel near a major station.
There are many hotels around Shin Osaka Station and Ōsaka Station, and you can take a shuttle bus directly to the Expo site.
By the way, there are no hotels around Yumeshima Station, but the closest hotels are Quintessa Hotel Osaka Bay and Hotel Lodge Maishima.
Therefore, if you are visiting as a tourist, we recommend staying at a hotel near the station or airport that has a shuttle bus.

Work | Monthly apartments are recommended for long-term stays

If you are staying at the Osaka Kansai Expo for an extended period of time for work-related reasons, such as venue construction or ongoing events, we recommend that you consider a monthly apartment rather than a hotel.
Monthly apartments are equipped with household appliances such as a refrigerator, microwave, and washing machine, as well as furniture such as a desk, chair, bed, and sofa, and daily necessities such as tableware and shampoo.
Financially, if you are staying for a month, for example, you can keep the cost down to about half of what a hotel would cost.
Monthly apartments are also sometimes used as company dormitories for employees who are relocating away from their family or going on business trips.
For more information on the features of monthly apartments, please see this article.

For monthly apartments, choose "Livemax"

If you are looking for a monthly apartment, we recommend Monthly Apartment Livemax.
The monthly apartment Livemax can be used not only by individuals, but also as an entire building for rent as a company dormitory.

Overview of Monthly Apartment Livemax

Based on our own market research, monthly apartment Livemax has over 7,500 rooms available in convenient locations in major cities across the country.
Monthly apartments, which can be rented immediately and allow you to stay for only the period of time you need, are used by many people, both individuals and corporations.
In addition, at the monthly apartment Livemax, you can consult with the Total Support Center if you have any trouble during your stay. Support is available in English, Chinese, and Korean.
If you are staying at the Osaka Kansai Expo for an extended period of time for work, such as for the construction of the venue or an ongoing event, please consider using the monthly apartment Livemax.

Livemax Monthly Apartment also offers the option of renting out an entire company dormitory

The monthly apartment Livemax is also used as an employee dormitory by corporations.
Not only can you use the rooms individually, but we can also rent out the entire property.
Therefore, when sending many employees and workers to the Osaka-Kansai Expo, living conditions can be provided by people from the same company alone.
